Description
The 858P Plasma In-Wall and 862P Plasma Eye are infrared receivers that employ additional optical filtering to reject noise from Plasma displays making them an ideal choice for home theater applications. Additionally, both models are immune from most sources of IR interference such as compact fluorescent lighting (CFL).
These two technical achievements were the result of painstaking testing by Russound engineers of all the major brands of plasma displays to ensure superior noise reduction. For even greater value, SaphIR is one of only two IR lines on the market that is CFL friendly as a standard feature.
The 858P and 862P are compatible with most brands of remote controls and popular a/v equipment. The 862P Plasma Eye comes supplied with three trim bezels in White, Black and Brass while the 858P In-Wall is offered in a Decora plate and available in a choice of five designer colors of White, Almond, Bone, Brown and Black. This selection of popular colors and finishes allows the installer to satisfy virtually any dcor and customer preference.
