Bluetooth wireless technology promotes safe driving habits by allowing you to send and receive calls from your smartphone or cellphone hands-free. The DDX418 features an easy to read 6.1" WVGA display making it easy to read the contents of your address book, recent calls sent or received and with a press of a button you're connected. Another handy feature of the DDX418 is the ability to listen to music that is stored on a Bluetooth enabled device, wirelessly.
iPod Connectivity
iPod Browsing allows music enthusiasts to "flick through" and browse by album art, video titles, photographs, etc. from an iPhone or iPod. For added versatility, iPod control by Hand disables the receiver's integrated control, enabling passengers to control the iPod manually.
Enhanced Overall Sound Quality
Both models feature 4V output with 2-preouts. Increased preout voltage
reduces amplifier gain, which helps to lessen noise.
WVGA Screen and Control Knob/Keys
The DDX418 and DDX318 feature a large 6.1-inch WVGA screen and easily accessible control knob and buttons. Each button is multi functional as functions differ depending on a short or long press. Variable Color Key Illumination can match the keys' color with the dashboard or interior lighting.
Navigation Interface Ready
Thanks to the built-in navigation interface, you can create a full in-car
navigation system simply by adding the KNA-G610 Hideaway Navigation System. This system is supported by Garmin technology and features NAVTEQ maps that will guide you easily to the desired destination anywhere in the U.S. and Canada.
