Detailed Description

The ZXs are designed using a horizontal bottom vent with a large port mouth area. These boxes will insure maximum BASS PERFORMANCE!
Cosmetically finished with ultra thick carpet, recessed face plates, and a unique carbon fiber finish.
Port Area : A huge port area for the mouth of the port. The port area is equal to approx. 40% of the driver cone area. This allows the air speed in the port to be reduced and results in the
following:

Linear port operation at very high SPL level (the large mouth will allow the port to work like a ported box, and allow it not to close up acoustically. When a port closes
up acoustically the box will act like a sealed box and the port becomes totally non-linear.

Port Length: Extended port lengths allow for low port tuning. This results in the following :

1. Higher loudspeaker mechanical power handling.

2. Lower deep bass performance.
